Gaston de Beaumont

It’s come to my attention that my grand life is in need of even more of a change. After so much amazing activity, I might just need a nice little pick me up. After all, someone like me has to keep up with their health. I will be going on a hunting trip! Anyone like to take a stab at it? Anyone who has the guts for it, though, I don’t want anyone dragging me down.

Since exams will be finishing soon, and the season ending I will also be selling the fraternity house.

My life is an unending flurry of activity. Wonderful, isn’t it?

The details of the soiree are pretty linear, although I have to say I’m very pleased with how it all turned out. Despite a few set backs-- No, it was all well. Thank you everyone kindly for attending my mother’s grand event.

It is a bit curious, of course. How you think something is going to go one way only to find it not. People are so rude even in the light of people who are obviously superior to them. It’s funny that my mother even allows some of these people to come, knowing their real faces.

And the preparations are fully underway. My mother has taken it upon herself like always to planning the soiree to the best of her ability. Sometimes she’s rather annoying with all her gallivanting about it. It will be grand anyway, as expected from a party held in the honour of the de Beaumont family.

Details have already been mailed away. It will be held at my family’s biggest hotel, Costa del Sol this coming Friday night. It seems the hotel itself has been transformed into an artist’s retreat.

I’ve never really cared much for art, myself. It’s all so pathetically boring, selfish, over dramatized and in most cases makes no sense whatsoever. I’m more interested in the conversations that will be happening that night more than anything.

As a way to treat myself for a job well done lately, I’ve got myself two strapping pet rottweilers. They are strictly purebred. Perfect for when summer comes and hunting season begins. Perhaps not the best suited hunting animals, but they serve multiple purposes and will be kept at my Fraternity home. Say a grand hello to Rod and Corbit.

Hmm. I wonder just how long it has been now since Mademoiselle Garnet has been missing? I remember when the papers first came out about her disappearance. There is still so much talk about the kidnapping and how the Alexandros Banking Company is going awry. I wouldn’t expect anything else, with such frauds going around, such a kidnapping-- especially of the heiress to the fine establishment, I wouldn’t doubt that the company will go under. Hmm, perhaps it’s time to tell father to sell his stocks, or better yet, buy out the company itself. Better than to have such a disgracing family in seat.

Royal Bank de Beaumont. I like the sound of that.

Nonetheless, I feel it is a duty of mine to keep an eye open for the lovely Mademoiselle Garnet. I’m curious just what actions are being taken to ensure her safety. After all, word like this will soon elevate if she is not found soon.

My mother wants to hold a celebration for a few new art pieces that she’s received. A dinner party is the planning.

I had a great time at First Friday the previous weekend. Must say, saw a lot of familiar faces that I was very glad to see. That’s what Tiki Room is best at doing, bringing such good people together under one roof.

What a beautiful day.

Saint Valentine’s Day is coming up this week. As always it’s going to be a very busy time for Gaston de Beaumont. The girls just can’t stop speaking to me about it me, and I find myself drowning in love letters and gifts these past two days... Seems like every single one of them wants me to pay attention to them and only them on that very special day. I wish I could spend a day with each one.

Hmm. There is only one little one I wish to wrap around my finger around this year though.

What an interesting day it has been. Practice was intense today even with the season still being young! Some of the morons on my team need all the practice they can get to get up to the level that our top players are. Especially to get skilled like me.

Now, I’ve been hearing such stories about me lately. Whispers here, comments there. I’ll have you know that I really don’t mind them all. To know that I’m in your thoughts is more than satisfaction for me. As I always say, better to be mentioned and spoken of then never mentioned at all. That means good, or bad.
